MouseCode is a creative digital agency based in Wiltshire between Salisbury and Shaftesbury in a beautiful barn conversion. We work with clients across a wide range of sectors including interiors, property and food & drink to name a few. We specialise in the design and development of stunning, intuitive Shopify and WordPress websites, as well as offering SEO, ongoing optimisation and website maintenance. We pride ourselves on our client relationships, the quality of work, and level of service we deliver.
We are a growing, skilled team and are now looking for a Digital Production & Technical Specialist who can bring strong website production skills alongside technical knowledge of websites, QA and troubleshooting to an exciting, fast-paced agency. This is a new role and its purpose is to support the delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of agency websites at vital stages of their life cycles. The role combines website production with technical QA, troubleshooting and operational support across platforms including WordPress and Shopify, as well as liaising with clients on a regular basis.
The Role
As Digital Production & Technical Specialist you will work closely with the Account Manager, SEO specialists, Project Manager and developer to ensure the websites we build and maintain are efficient, secure and perform to a high standard. You will provide practical technical input, identify opportunities for improvement and help keep the agency up to date with emerging technology, AI, accessibility, security and digital best practice. You will also play a key role in the QA process for new website projects as they move through production.
You will help manage a number of retained client accounts whose technical needs are more complex than others and whose websites we manage, enhance and optimise on an ongoing basis. You will act as a key point of contact for day-to-day technical website requirements, working with clients and the wider team to identify issues, find solutions and ensure work is delivered accurately and efficiently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
