Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and analytical Digital Products Analyst to support the development and optimisation of our digital banking products and services. The role will focus on analysing customer behaviour, product performance, market trends, and operational data to provide actionable insights that improve customer experience, increase digital adoption, and support strategic product decisions.

Working closely with Product Managers, Technology teams, UX/UI Designers, Data teams, Compliance, Risk, and Operations, you will help drive innovation and continuous improvement across our digital banking channels, including mobile banking, online banking, payments, lending, savings, and customer servicing platforms.

Role Responsibilities

Product Performance & Analytics

  • Monitor and analyse the performance of digital banking products and customer journeys.
  • Define, maintain, and report on key product KPIs including:
    • Digital adoption
    • Customer engagement
    • Conversion rates
    • Transaction volumes
    • Customer satisfaction (NPS/CSAT)
    • Product profitability
  • Develop dashboards and regular performance reporting for business stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and customer pain points through data analysis.

Customer Experience & Journey Analysis

  • Analyse customer interactions and behaviours across mobile and online banking platforms.
  • Conduct funnel analysis to identify drop-off points and friction within customer journeys.
  • Support customer research and usability testing activities.
  • Translate customer insights into recommendations that improve digital experiences.

Product Development Support

  • Partner with Product Managers to support product discovery, business case development, and roadmap prioritisation.
  • Gather and document business requirements and user stories.
  • Assist in defining product success measures and tracking outcomes.
  • Support product launches and post-implementation reviews.

Data & Insights

  • Work with Data Analytics and Engineering teams to extract and validate data.
  • Perform detailed analysis using SQL and visualisation tools.
  • Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Regulatory & Risk Considerations

  • Support products that comply with UK banking regulations and internal governance requirements.
  • Ensure data usage and reporting activities align with GDPR and information security standards.
  • Consider operational, conduct, and customer risks in analytical recommendations.

Skills and Experience Required

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a Product Analyst, Digital Analyst, Business Analyst, or Digital Product role.
  • Experience within banking, financial services, fintech, or regulated industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with:
    • SQL
    • Power BI
    • Tableau
    • Looker
    • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
    • Adobe Analytics
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in digital banking products including:
    • Current accounts
    • Savings products
    • Cards
    • Lending
    • Payments
    • Open Banking
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty principles.
  • Experience with experimentation and A/B testing tools.
  • Knowledge of Python, R, or statistical modelling.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Productboard.

This is a permanent position, paying up to £65,000.00 per annum based on experience.
