COME AND JOIN US
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Digital Project Manager with great interpersonal skills to join our Brand and Marketing team for 12 months.
You'll be responsible for overseeing and coordinating Digital projects across Gleneagles and Gleneagles Townhouse, and our Estelle properties. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, you'll ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and that our business requirements are fully realised.
ABOUT GLENEAGLES
One of the world’s most iconic luxury hotels and country retreats, Gleneagles has been making memories for a century. Crowned ‘Employer of the Year’ at the 2024 Cateys and Number One Resort in the UK & Ireland by readers of the Travel + Leisure for their 2025 World’s Best Awards, everything we do is about surpassing expectations and creating unrivalled adventures for our guests.
WORKING AT GLENEAGLES
We’re devoted to making our people feel as valued as our guests. In this way, we strive to support the whole ‘you’ – not just the professional part but the personal part too. People join our team for all sorts of reasons. Some work here permanently to develop a career, some work seasonally, while others have a schedule to fit around their personal commitments. However long you plan to stay with us and whatever hours you’d prefer to work, we’re open to flexible working requests and offer hours, shift patterns and contract types to suit everyone.
Location: Auchterarder, just off the A9. Gleneagles is also within easy reach of a number of Scottish towns and cities: Edinburgh City Centre (1hr), Glasgow or Dundee (50mins), Stirling and Perth (25mins).
Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- Leading the delivery of digital projects across our business, including booking engine development and guest and member-facing web and app products
- Developing and owning project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation and risk management, and holding delivery partners to them
- Managing multiple external vendors and agencies simultaneously; reviewing statements of work, scrutinising scope and cost changes, challenging escalations with evidence, and ensuring commercial terms protect the business before sign-off
- Coordinating the delivery of complex integrations between systems including property management, membership, reservations, spa and leisure booking, payments and our data warehouse, working to the technical and design specifications set by the Digital Experience Manager, and understanding dependencies well enough to spot delivery risk early
- Ensuring data architecture and validation requirements defined by the Digital Experience Manager and our data function are delivered and signed off as part of each project
- Translating the requirements and priorities set by the Digital Experience Manager into delivery plans, and flagging early where scope, cost or vendor capacity puts them at risk
- Communicating project status to stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to the executive; providing transparency proactively and translating technical detail into business language
- Planning and running the delivery side of user acceptance testing across integrated systems: coordinating environments, vendors, test schedules and defect resolution, so the Digital Experience Manager and operational teams can focus on validating the experience
- Ensuring projects handling member and guest data are delivered in line with GDPR and PECR requirements, working with legal and compliance where needed
- Coordinating training rollout and go-live readiness so our teams are confident with new systems from day one
- Interacting with our members and guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The kind of person we're looking for:
- With strong experience delivering digital projects, ideally in hospitality, luxury or membership businesses, you also ideally have a degree in a relevant field, proven delivery however matters more
- You've managed multi-vendor programmes and know how to run a supplier relationship commercially: reviewing SOWs, questioning cost increases, and getting line-item clarity before committing spend
- The difference between product ownership and delivery is crystal clear to you, and you're energised by the delivery side; you've worked well alongside product owners before and know how to make that partnership work
- You're comfortable in conversations about data: APIs, data quality, and what it takes to deliver reliable syncs between operational systems to someone else's specification
- Building strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business, from front-of-house teams to the executive is second nature to you, and you have great interpersonal skills
- You adeptly manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities without dropping detail, and you adapt quickly when things change
- Direct and organised, you have a positive "can do" attitude and an eagle eye for detail; you take immense pride in your work and in delivering the standards our guests expect of the Gleneagles brand
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way
