Purpose of the role
We are looking for an experienced and technically confident Digital Project Manager (website) to lead the successful delivery of a new Soccer Aid for UNICEF website.
Working in collaboration with the Soccer Aid marketing team, digital teams at UNICEF UK and our appointed digital agency, you will take day-to-day ownership of technical delivery: clarifying requirements, strengthening specifications, prompting timely decisions and ensuring the agency delivers against agreed scope, quality, budget and timescales.
This is a client-side technical delivery role, not a web design or marketing role. We need someone who can work at pace and understands how modern websites are planned, built, integrated, tested and launched.
Experience in sport, entertainment, live events, venues, or other audience-facing businesses would be particularly valuable, with an understanding of charity websites and associated integration and governance.
Key responsibilities
Website project delivery
- Take day-to-day ownership for Soccer Aid Productions ('Soccer Aid for UNICEF') of the technical and operational delivery of the new website project.
- Work closely with the Marketing team and UNICEF UK digital team to establish priorities, milestones, dependencies and key decision points. Please note this role is employed by Soccer Aid Productions, not UNICEF UK.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, ensuring activities remain on track and issues are identified early.
- Collaborate with the Soccer Aid marketing team and other colleagues to ensure requirements, content, assets, approvals and decisions are delivered when required.
- Champion clear sign-off processes and ensure that decisions are properly documented and communicated.
- Monitor project scope, budget, risks, issues and dependencies, escalating matters appropriately.
- Ensure the project moves efficiently through discovery, requirements, design, development, testing, user acceptance and launch.
- Maintain a clear view of the critical path and ensure that delays or dependencies are identified and addressed promptly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
