We are looking for a proactive and organised Digital Records Officer to support the delivery and development of digital records services across the Trust.

The post will work across a varied portfolio including clinical systems support, EPR digitisation, Clinical Change Advisory Group coordination, post and print services, and wider Medical Records service resilience. The role will support the safe, accurate and timely management of patient information, help resolve digital records issues, coordinate actions across teams and contribute to the Trust’s transition towards more efficient digital ways of working.

This is a varied role requiring strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across Medical Records, Digital, Clinical Systems, EPR and operational teams.

Key Duties Include

  • Supporting the Clinical Change Advisory Group, including coordination of requests, actions and governance documentation.
  • Providing first-line support for Evolve and records-related clinical system issues.
  • Supporting EPR digitisation, scanning, migration, data quality and paper-reduction workstreams.
  • Coordinating and monitoring post and print services, including supplier performance, service issues and cost improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting Medical Records service resilience by maintaining knowledge across key operational areas and providing cover during periods of absence or service pressure.
  • Liaising with clinical, operational, digital, IT, Information Governance and supplier teams to resolve issues and support service improvement.
  • Monitoring risks, actions and recurring issues, escalating concerns where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
