The Role
We’re looking for a Digital Sales Manager to help us deliver our next stage of growth. The role will drive digital and social revenue growth across Goalhanger, with a focus on monetising our growing presence across YouTube, Meta, TikTok, X as well as other emerging platforms. You’ll own relationships with key platform partners, identify new commercial opportunities, and develop direct revenue streams through social-first campaigns, branded content, creator-style integrations and bespoke activations. As the digital and social specialist within the Partnerships team, you’ll bring these opportunities into client proposals and pitches, working closely with Partnerships, Production, Digital, Marketing and Editorial to develop new commercial products and revenue streams. This is a hands-on commercial role for an ambitious digital media salesperson who understands how brands use social platforms, enjoys building relationships with major platforms and agencies, and wants to help shape a new area of growth for Goalhanger.
What you’ll do:
- Own Goalhanger's digital and social commercial revenue, delivering against an individual revenue target and maintaining accurate pipeline, forecasting and CRM reporting.
- Develop and manage key relationships with platforms including YouTube, Meta, TikTok, X as well as emerging digital partners, maximising monetisation opportunities and identifying new products, formats and revenue streams.
- Act as Goalhanger's digital and social specialist, keeping the Sales team up to date on platform developments and best practice, and identifying where digital can strengthen client proposals.
- Build and convert a pipeline of direct and agency clients.
- Develop and pitch bespoke propositions spanning branded content, video integrations, sponsorships, talent-led campaigns and multi-platform activations, including opportunities that integrate digital and social with Goalhanger's wider podcast and video offering.
- Work closely with Sales, Production and Digital teams to develop and deliver high-quality campaigns that meet client objectives while being creatively strong and appropriate for Goalhanger's audiences.
- Represent Goalhanger across the digital, social, agency and platform ecosystem, building relationships and using market insight to generate new business and inform the company's commercial strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
