The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Scotland's largest healthcare provider, as a Senior Contracts and Finance Administrator within the Digital Services Contracts & Finance Team. This role offers the chance to contribute to the delivery of NHSGGC's ambitious Digital Strategy by supporting key procurement, contract management and financial tracking activities. Working across a wide range of clinical and corporate services, you will play a vital role in ensuring digital solutions and services are delivered effectively and provide maximum value for patients and staff. All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern
- Full Time, Permanent
- You will be based in Westward House, 15-17 St James Street, Paisley, PA3 2HJ
- Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor contracts, procurement activities and financial tracking processes across Digital Services
- Support the delivery of the Digital Health Strategy through effective contract and procurement management
- Work closely with clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders to support business and procurement requirements
- Lead and coordinate contract management activities relating to IT equipment, software and digital services
- Monitor supplier performance and support the continuous improvement of procurement and contract processes
- Collaborate with colleagues on heatmap and lifecycle management activities to support digital service planning
- Support building services administration and coordinate activities relating to on-site contractors where required

Knowledge, Training, Qualifications and/or Experience Required to Do the Job
- Degree educated with specific IT content, Procurement, Contract Management or an equivalent professional qualification
- Significant experience working within a contracts, procurement or finance environment
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management principles and financial administration
- Experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders across multiple departments and organisations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- Proven ability to analyse information, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to service development initiatives
