🔦 POSITION OVERVIEW
We are partnering with a Global Consumer Products Company to find their next Digital Shelf Specialist eCommerce. Our client operates in over 200 countries and is known for trusted household brands spanning Personal Care, Home Care and Pet Nutrition. This opportunity sits within its Pet Nutrition division's EMEA team.
This is your chance to own and execute the Digital Shelf strategy across Europe for a major pureplay online retailer. You'll be responsible for Content, Search Placement, and Ratings & Reviews, while working closely with the commercial team to drive on-shelf availability and core performance metrics. You'll lead the Pan-European test-and-learn strategy for content, continuously optimising pages to maximize traffic and conversion. Working in close partnership with the Retail Media team, you'll ensure high-converting landing pages for all media activations, and partner with brand and content teams to guarantee a best-in-class shopper experience.

📒 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING FROM DAY 1
- Owning compliance and quality of Product Detail Page content, managing A/B testing and continuous optimisation
- Being the internal expert on premium content requirements, guiding brand and content teams through activation
- Setting the EMEA Digital Shelf Strategy and managing the European relationship with the company’s enterprise Digital Shelf tool provider
- Collaborating with Global Digital teams to activate strategies across EMEA, and supporting local country teams on digital shelf fundamentals
- Measuring and improving organic search placement and share of page, owning keyword strategy to ensure content is fully optimised
- Optimising content for retailer search algorithms to drive visibility and conversion
- Owning the ratings & reviews strategy, ensuring strict brand metric compliance and tracking consumer sentiment to deliver insights back to brand teams
🌟WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Exceptional academic background, ideally with a degree in Business, Marketing, Digital, or a related field
- Extensive 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, or a related field, client-side or agency
- Proven experience setting and activating a Pan-EU Digital Shelf strategy with a major pureplay retailer
- Hands-on experience working with Digital Shelf tools and large data sets to drive continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience optimising retailer algorithms across Digital Shelf KPIs
- Strong analytical rigor — ability to interpret complex digital shelf data and translate it into actions that move KPIs
- Commercial acumen, with a clear understanding of how Retail Media, Digital Shelf and eCommerce functions interconnect to drive brand growth
- Ability to operate in a fast-evolving marketing landscape and prioritise effectively under pressure
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional and regional teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels
- Knowledge of marketplaces, and 1P & 3P selling models
- Strong experience using AI-powered tools
- Hands-on experience with advanced content measurement and management tools
- Not essential but proficiency in a second European language would be a bonus
