About The Role

Young is a music and arts organization, built around a London-based record label, that helps exceptional artists locate and develop their genius.

We are looking for an experienced, culturally embedded digital strategist to lead audience development across the Young Recordings and Young Artists roster. Based at Young Space in East London, you’ll work cross-functionally with Project Managers, Marketing, Press, Creative, and Management teams — defining, directing, and optimizing digital campaigns that feel native to each platform and audience.

Your deep understanding of online culture and platform behavior will see you play a vital role in shaping how our artists’ work is amplified and reaches their communities. You’ll move fluidly across a diverse roster, developing bespoke strategies across new release campaigns and catalogue, and connecting music to the moments and scenes that matter.

You’ll be comfortable directing internal teams and briefing external creators, while bringing a rigorous, data-informed approach to performance. The right person is someone who actively identifies and drives opportunities, is deeply immersed in digital culture, highly strategic, and energized by building the kind of campaigns that make music travel.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in audience development, digital marketing, and/or social media management within the music industry

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead bespoke digital strategy across the rosters to grow audiences globally in line with overall campaign and artist goals
  • Define platform-specific strategies and map content arcs for key campaign moments
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure campaigns align with broader narrative and audience goals and are integrated with ancillary activity such as touring and partnerships
  • Identify opportunities to develop and optimize digital strategy around real-time moments
  • Work closely with internal teams and managers to anticipate moments and prepare assets in advance
  • Brief creators and internal teams on platform-native content and ensure assets are optimized for shareability and seeding
  • Define and maintain seeding objectives per campaign
  • Collaborate with the Audience Coordinator to maintain tailored and evolving creator and community lists
  • Review campaign and social performance data to ensure digital strategies adapt in real time to platform and audience behavior

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
