Digital Tourism Marketing Executive

Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and digitally focused Digital Tourism Marketing Executive to support online marketing campaigns that promote tourism destinations, travel experiences, attractions, and tourism services. The successful candidate will develop digital content, support social media campaigns, monitor online performance, and contribute to digital strategies designed to increase visitor awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns for tourism and travel initiatives.
- Create engaging content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and digital platforms.
- Manage and update tourism-related digital content across relevant channels.
- Develop social media campaigns to increase destination and brand awareness.
- Conduct keyword, audience, and competitor research.
- Support SEO and content marketing activities.
- Monitor website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign performance.
- Prepare digital marketing reports and performance insights.
- Research travel trends and online visitor behaviour.
- Coordinate with tourism partners, content creators, agencies, and internal teams.
- Assist with paid digital advertising campaigns where required.
- Identify new digital marketing opportunities and emerging platforms.

Requirements
- Interest in digital marketing, tourism, travel, communications, or a related field.
- Good understanding of social media and digital marketing principles.
- Strong written communication and content creation skills.
- Creative and analytical mindset.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse digital performance data.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Previous digital marketing or tourism experience is beneficial but not essential.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with social media management and content creation.
- Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, email marketing, or digital advertising.
- Knowledge of tourism and travel industry trends.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress.
- Basic understanding of paid social media and search advertising.
- Experience working with travel companies, tourism organisations, hotels, attractions, or destination marketing organisations is advantageous.
