Digital Tourism Marketing Executive

Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and digitally focused Digital Tourism Marketing Executive to support online marketing activities for tourism destinations, attractions, travel experiences, and hospitality-related businesses.
The successful candidate will assist with digital campaigns, social media, content creation, website management, email marketing, and performance analysis to increase online visibility, audience engagement, and visitor interest.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and delivering digital tourism marketing campaigns.
- Create and coordinate engaging content for websites, social media, email, and digital advertising channels.
- Manage and schedule content across relevant social media platforms.
- Support website content updates and ensure tourism information remains accurate and engaging.
- Assist with SEO activities to improve online visibility and search performance.
- Develop email marketing campaigns and promotional communications.
- Research travel trends, visitor behaviour, target audiences, and competitor activity.
- Monitor digital campaign performance and prepare regular reports.
- Analyse website, social media, and campaign data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with paid digital advertising campaigns across relevant platforms.
- Work with tourism partners, attractions, hospitality businesses, agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Support the development of digital promotional materials, landing pages, and marketing assets.
- Contribute creative ideas to increase destination awareness and visitor engagement.

Requirements
- Degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Tourism, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Good understanding of digital marketing and social media.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative approach to content creation and online marketing.
- Good analytical and research skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interest in tourism, travel, digital media, and marketing.
- Previous digital marketing or tourism experience is beneficial but not essential for entry-level candidates.

Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with SEO, SEM, email marketing, and digital advertising.
- Experience with social media management platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Basic understanding of paid social media advertising.
- Knowledge of UK tourism and travel trends is advantageous.
