The Role
To ensure the website reflects and enhances The White Company brand values.
The key deliverables of this job role are:
- Ensure excellent website standards at all times
- Work with the Digital Trading Assistant Manager (Digital TAM) to ensure new season launches, campaigns and sales are executed smoothly online
- Support the Digital TAM in reporting on ecommerce trading metrics
- Awareness and communication of relevant competitor activity
- Full understanding of your specific category product offering
What you’ll be doing

Daily running of site
- Report and feedback any availability issues to the Digital TAM
- Ensure excellent site standards at all times, in particular the use of banners, links, asset availability and landing page CTAs
- Ensure the customer journey is logical for ease of shopping and the top navigation is optimised
- Ensure the taxonomy is correct and changes communicated to the Content team
- Ensure product flags are updated and reflect current trading, eg bestseller flags, new flags, online exclusives ect.
- Ensure that products are launched on the website on time
- Ensure that page rankings, filters and product boosting are optimised at all times
- Ensure good stock availability on products featured in emails and landing page assets
- Monitor what the customer is searching for on site and take action to optimise search results where possible
- Manage the setup of New in and seasonal categories
- Manage any URL re-directs and support the Marketing team to ensure the site is SEO optimised
- Ensure any offers and sales are executed effectively online
- Action requests from the Buying and Merchandising teams to add or remove products from the website
- Work with the Content Coordinators to ensure that products are ranged correctly online and set up is completed within the critical path
- Awareness of competitor activity in the ecommerce space. Regular feedback on what is happening with the competition

Supporting the Digital Trading Assistant Manager (Digital TAM)
- Monitoring and analysing sales data to aid decisions made by the Digital TAM, including highlights, lowlights and bestsellers
- Support the Digital TAM by running reports and contributing to weekly trade notes to share with the business
- Support the Digital TAM in launching new initiatives on site and measuring their success
- With clear guidance from the Digital TAM for each launch/campaign, ensure the trading strategy is reflected online
- Create briefs incorporating Content and Merchandising requirements for the Production team

The Skills And Experience You’ll Need
- Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally and demonstrate a pro-active, ‘can-do’ attitude
- Confidence in understanding, analysing and reporting on data
- Can work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
- Great attention to detail
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
- A good grasp of Microsoft Word and Excel
- The ability to develop relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Knowledge and passion about online and multi-channel retail and customer experience
