We’re looking for an experienced Digital Trading Manager to join a large consumer business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid role and you must be available to start at short notice.
This is a hands-on eCommerce role where you’ll take ownership of digital trading performance across a portfolio of products, using data and customer insight to drive online sales and improve the shopping experience.
The role
You’ll be responsible for delivering digital trading activity around key promotions and product launches, while continually looking for ways to improve online performance.
You’ll
- Optimise product discovery, search, merchandising, recommendations, and cross-selling
- Analyse customer journeys and identify opportunities to improve conversion
- Monitor key eCommerce metrics including traffic, conversion, and average transaction value
- Turn performance data into clear recommendations and optimisation activity
- Partner with commercial teams to identify and deliver growth opportunities

About you
You’ll have around 6+ years’ digital trading/eCommerce experience, with a strong understanding of online merchandising, customer journeys, and conversion.
You’ll be commercially minded, confident using analytics and reporting tools, and able to turn insight into action. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience with product discovery, personalisation, or social proofing tools would be useful, as would an interest in using AI to improve digital performance.
