About Us
Peregrine Livefoods is one of the UK’s most respected specialist suppliers for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates, breeding fresh livefood on our Essex farm every day. We’re growing the e-commerce team behind Livefoods Direct and looking for a commercially minded Digital Trading Manager to turn our website traffic into revenue.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of E-commerce, you’ll own on-site commercial performance: conversion rate optimisation, SEO, merchandising, website content, and CRM. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves testing, measuring, and improving.
What You’ll Do
- Own the CRO roadmap and run A/B tests on our WooCommerce site
- Own on-site SEO and improve rankings for high-volume target keywords
- Manage merchandising, including category ordering, cross-sells, bundles, and promotions
- Set up and optimise product detail pages across our priority SKUs
- Create, prepare, and schedule website content, including content for email campaigns
- Own Klaviyo campaigns and flows, growing email’s share of total revenue
- Track and report on conversion rate, AOV, CRM revenue, keyword rankings, PDP quality, and test throughput

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Hands-on WooCommerce experience
- Proven CRO and A/B testing experience
- Strong on-site SEO knowledge
- Experience setting up and optimising PDPs
- Web content management and scheduling experience
- Klaviyo or an equivalent CRM/email platform
Desirable
- Knowledge of wild birds, animals, or reptiles
- Livefood industry knowledge
Salary
£40,000 per annum
