Digital Trading Manager - 10-12 Month FTC
Watford | Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days WFH
£45,000-£50,000 + benefits
Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a leading national retailer to recruit a Digital Trading Manager on a 10-12 month fixed-term mat cover contract.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced digital trading professional to take ownership of online performance across key categories, working closely with commercial teams to drive sales, improve the customer journey and maximise digital conversion.
You'll be responsible for delivering the digital trading plan, optimising onsite merchandising and product discovery, and using performance data to identify opportunities for growth.

- Delivering the digital trading plan across website and digital channels
- Optimising site search, visual merchandising, bundling, cross-selling and product discovery
- Analysing customer journeys and identifying opportunities to improve conversion
- Partnering with Buying, Planning and Commercial teams to develop digital growth plans
- Reporting on key eCommerce KPIs including traffic, conversion, ATV and path to purchase
- Managing and developing one direct report
Requirements
We're looking for someone with a minimum of 4+ years' experience in digital trading or eCommerce, ideally within a fast-paced retail environment. It could be a great opportunity for a very senior ecommerce executive ready to step up!

You'll have strong experience with web analytics, CMS platforms and digital merchandising tools, with exposure to platforms such as GA4, Contentsquare, Looker Studio, Bloomreach, Taggstar or Increasingly highly desirable.
You'll be commercially minded, analytical and confident working with stakeholders, with the ability to turn insight into clear actions that improve trading performance.
Experience using AI tools to improve productivity or website performance would also be a real advantage.
