Digital Trading & Performance Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Trading & Performance Manager based in the United Kingdom.
As Digital Trading & Performance Manager, you will play a central role in improving marketplace performance and driving sustainable commercial growth. You will sit at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Analytics, Pricing, and Commercial teams, turning complex data into clear business decisions. Your analysis will help identify growth opportunities, emerging risks, and areas where performance can be optimized. You will influence senior stakeholders and translate market trends, customer behavior, and performance signals into actionable recommendations. The role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to lead initiatives with direct commercial impact. You will work in a collaborative, data-driven environment where curiosity, structured problem-solving, and strong communication are highly valued.
Accountabilities
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate marketplace health and performance across key commercial, candidate, product, and business KPIs.
- Identify growth opportunities, performance risks, optimization potential, and emerging trends through data analysis and market intelligence.
- Translate complex datasets and performance trends into clear, actionable recommendations that inform strategy, investment decisions, and business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Pricing, and Commercial teams to improve marketplace performance and customer outcomes.
- Challenge existing approaches and use evidence-based insights to identify opportunities for optimization and sustainable growth.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting, communicating performance trends, business challenges, opportunities, and recommended actions to senior stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activity, market dynamics, customer behavior, and broader industry developments to strengthen marketplace and growth strategies.
- Support cross-functional initiatives that improve customer outcomes, strengthen retention, and contribute to long-term commercial performance.
- Develop and maintain performance reporting frameworks that provide stakeholders with clear visibility into marketplace health and business results.
- Leverage advanced analytics and AI-powered tools where appropriate to improve decision-making, reporting efficiency, and performance management.

Requirements
- Relevant experience in marketplace, ecommerce, digital trading, performance marketing, product performance, or another data-driven commercial environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify meaningful trends, and extract actionable business insights.
- Proven commercial mindset and ability to translate data and analysis into recommendations that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills, with the credibility to collaborate across multiple functions and drive alignment around business priorities.
- Excellent executive communication skills, including confidence presenting insights, recommendations, risks, and challenges to senior leadership.
- Structured and data-driven problem-solving approach, with a demonstrated ability to identify business challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Strong understanding of digital marketplaces, ecommerce, conversion optimization, pricing, or growth-focused business models is advantageous.
- Previous exposure to senior or executive stakeholders and experience influencing strategic decisions is a plus.
- Experience using AI-powered tools, advanced analytics, reporting frameworks, or other technologies to improve business performance and decision-making is desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while balancing strategic priorities with hands-on analytical work.
- Strong commercial curiosity and willingness to challenge assumptions, explore new opportunities, and continuously improve performance.
