BMW Financial Services, Farnborough - Digital Transformation Analyst- Placement (July 2027)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate to join our team as a Digital Transformation Analyst Intern for the 2027/2028 placement year.

This placement offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across sales operations, digital transformation and process improvement, working closely with Commercial Sales teams, IT developers and Process Specialists to deliver meaningful improvements for customers and colleagues alike.

This role provides valuable exposure to digital transformation, agile project delivery, process optimisation, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement within one of the UK's leading fleet and mobility providers.

What awaits you?

  • Develop a strong understanding of Alphabet Motion and how digital technology enhances the customer experience.
  • Work alongside IT Development teams within an Agile environment, supporting the delivery of system enhancements through three-week sprint cycles.
  • Represent the voice of the customer throughout system development and improvement activities.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), release testing and regression testing, including creating and executing detailed test scripts.
  • Support the delivery of seamless customer journeys by identifying opportunities to improve processes, simplify workflows and eliminate manual workarounds.
  • Partner with Commercial Process Specialists on a variety of improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs and enhancing service delivery.
  • Gain exposure to stakeholder management, business analysis, continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

What should you bring along?

  • Studying towards a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems and adapt to changing requirements.
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies would be advantageous but is not essential.
