Digital Transformation Director - Lead the Future of Digital!
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Digital Transformation Director to lead a significant digital transformation programme within a forward-thinking financial services organisation.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering a comprehensive transformation agenda, driving change across technology, operations, customer experience, products, processes, data, and culture. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in redefining how the bank serves its customers while ensuring the organisation remains innovative, competitive, and future-ready.
The Role
As Digital Transformation Director, you will own the end-to-end transformation lifecycle, from strategic vision and roadmap development through to execution, adoption, and benefits realisation. Working closely with Executive Leadership, Technology, Operations, Product, Risk, and Customer teams, you will lead the delivery of transformational initiatives that create seamless digital experiences, improve operational efficiency, and unlock sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the organisation's digital transformation strategy.
- Lead large-scale transformation programmes from inception through implementation and optimisation.
- Drive innovation across customer journeys, digital channels, products, and banking services.
- Champion automation, digitalisation, data-driven decision-making, and emerging technologies.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to align transformation initiatives with strategic objectives.
- Build and manage enterprise transformation roadmaps, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
- Establish effective governance structures, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams across technology, operations, product, and change functions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
- Ensure transformation programmes meet regulatory, operational, and commercial requirements.

About You
You are a visionary transformation leader with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide digital change within banking, fintech, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
You will bring:
- Significant experience leading complex digital transformation programmes at scale.
- A strong understanding of digital banking, customer experience transformation, and technology modernisation.
- Experience transforming legacy processes and operating models into digitally enabled environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Executive and Board level.
- Strong commercial acumen and a focus on delivering measurable business value.
- Experience leading large cross-functional teams through substantial organisational change.
- Outstanding strategic thinking, programme leadership, and execution capabilities.
