The Role

We’re looking for a reliable, organised Digital Warehouse Assistant to support our busy warehouse and e-commerce operation, including eBay orders.

There’s a large volume of stock to move, so you’ll need to be comfortable with a daily routine of picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently. Alongside warehouse duties, you’ll help customers at the trade counter and handle telephone and online enquiries.

You’ll also have the opportunity to develop your operational skills and take on additional responsibility, deputising for the Business Manager during their absence.

What You’ll Do

  • Process, pick, check, pack and dispatch online and customer orders accurately.
  • Receive and check deliveries, put stock away and maintain accurate stock records and locations.
  • Prepare consignments and dispatch paperwork, process returns and support stock counts.
  • Support e-commerce and eBay activity, resolving or escalating stock and order issues.
  • Assist trade counter customers and respond professionally to telephone and online enquiries.
  • Support the wider branch team, deputise for the Business Manager and undertake occasional deliveries, collections or stock transfers.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe, reporting stock discrepancies, damage and hazards promptly.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous trade counter experience and a helpful, customer-focused approach.
  • Experience of busy warehouse operations, with confidence handling high volumes of picking, packing and dispatch.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, including eBay, and confidence using computer systems.
  • A professional telephone manner and clear verbal and written communication.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail when handling stock, orders and paperwork.
  • A dependable, flexible approach and willingness to develop your skills and take on responsibility.
  • A valid driving licence.
