Digital Workplace Engineer

A leading consultancy, that we are partnered with on an exclusive basis, is hiring a Digital Workplace Engineer to join a highly technical team located in Kent, paying £60,000 circa onsite 2 days per week + benefits.

We are looking for a hands-on Microsoft 365 engineer who personally designs, builds, and delivers cloud-first / serverless solutions for our customers, project manages their own delivery and stakeholders, and has the potential to grow into a Modern Work consultant. This is a doer first, not a pure consultant or architect.

Ideally the chosen candidate will have experience within an MSP or Consultancy background with certifications in MD-102, AZ-104. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business embarking on transformation with career progression.

Key Technical Responsibilities

  • Strong Microsoft Intune expertise
    • Autopilot
    • Endpoint management
    • Compliance/configuration policies
    • App deployment
    • MDM/MAM
  • Excellent Entra ID / identity & security
    • Conditional Access
    • MFA
    • PIM/privileged access
    • SSO
    • Identity lifecycle and Zero Trust
  • Proven Microsoft 365 migration and transformation experience
    • Covering Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Strong security capability
    • Across Microsoft Defender and Purview, rather than someone focused purely on endpoint deployment
  • Windows 11 / M365 Apps deployment experience
    • Ideally including large-scale migrations
  • Practical Azure knowledge
    • AVD would be beneficial but doesn't appear essential
  • Strong PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation capability

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
