This is a hands-on specialist role responsible for shaping secure, scalable and compliant workplace technologies across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, virtual desktops, meeting room technology and digital signage.

Working closely with Enterprise Architecture and key stakeholders, you will define future-state solutions, establish architecture standards and drive the delivery of a modern, cloud-first digital workplace aligned to Zero Trust principles. You'll play a critical role in enhancing user experience, improving security posture and enabling innovation while balancing operational stability and cost.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the digital workplace architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and Zero Trust security principles.
  • Design and govern endpoint and device management solutions, including Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Endpoint Detection and Response, and BYOD environments.
  • Define and maintain technology standards, architecture patterns and governance controls across workplace platforms.
  • Lead the technical design and optimisation of Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot and Power Platform.
  • Act as the technical authority for digital workplace technologies, providing guidance, assurance and escalation support for complex technical challenges.
  • Embed security-by-design principles across all workplace solutions and ensure adherence to regulatory, audit and compliance requirements.
  • Drive consistency, standardisation and reduction of technical debt across workplace services.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to develop and deliver strategic technology roadmaps.
  • Improve digital workplace adoption and user experience through data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the evolution of meeting room technology, audio-visual solutions and digital signage platforms.
  • Balance innovation, security, operational resilience and cost efficiency when designing solutions.

Your skills:

  • Proven experience in a Digital Workplace Architect, Endpoint Architect, EUC Architect or Lead Engineer role within a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Autopilot and Endpoint Management.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot and Power Platform.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture, identity management, endpoint security and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience designing and governing device lifecycle management, build standards, patching, compliance and BYOD solutions at scale.
  • Demonstrable experience defining architecture standards, governance models and reusable technical patterns.
  • Knowledge of meeting room technologies, audio-visual solutions and digital signage platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and driving technology adoption.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
