Digital Workspace Senior Consultant
Location: Ireland (Hybrid / Client-facing)
Business Unit: Professional Services
Contract: 12 months
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Workspace Senior Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This is a senior, client-facing consulting role focused on the design and delivery of Digital Workspace projects, with Citrix as the core technology stack.
The successful candidate will act as the lead technical consultant on projects, taking ownership from pre-sales technical engagement through solution delivery and project closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Digital Workspace projects
- Act as the primary technical authority for Citrix-based solutions
- Work closely with Project Managers to deliver projects on time and to scope
- Engage directly with customer stakeholders, providing trusted technical guidance
- Contribute to pre-sales activities including discovery, solution design, and SoW input
- Produce high-quality design, implementation, and handover documentation
- Ensure solutions are delivered in line with professional services best practices
Core Technical Focus
- Citrix Digital Workspace technologies, including:
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
- Citrix Cloud / Citrix DaaS
- Citrix NetScaler / ADC
- User Profile & Persona Management:
- FSLogix
- Citrix Profile Management
- Profile container and roaming profile design
- Directory & Core Services:
- Active Directory design and integration
- Group Policy (GPO) design and optimisation
- DNS, DHCP, and core identity services as they relate to EUC
- Storage & Networking (Integrated with Citrix & EUC)
- Storage Technologies:
- Azure Files and Azure NetApp Files for VDI and profile storage
- Storage design considerations for performance, availability, and scale
- Storage Technologies:
- Integration of cloud and on-prem storage with Citrix workloads
- Networking & Connectivity:
- Virtual networking design in main industry hypervisor and public cloud.
- Citrix NetScaler / ADC for access, load balancing, and secure remote connectivity
- Network performance and latency considerations for Digital Workspace solutions
- Monitoring & Experience:
- Citrix Director / Analytics
- Digital Employee Experience (DEX) tools and metrics
- Working knowledge of the wider Digital Workspace ecosystem, such as:
- Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Windows 365
- Omnissa (VMware Horizon / Workspace ONE)
- Endpoint management (Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE UEM)
- Identity integration (Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA)
- Nerdio for AVD / W365 management

Essential Experience & Skills
- 5+ years hands-on experience delivering Citrix solutions in project environments
- Proven background in professional services and project delivery
- Ability to own technical delivery and work independently
- Experience engaging with customer stakeholders at multiple levels
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- A clear consultant mindset, not an operational or support-focused approach

Certifications
Mandatory:
- Current Citrix certification (e.g. CCP-V, CCE-V, CCA-AppDS, CCP-AppDS)
Desirable (Not Mandatory):
- Microsoft Azure Administrator certification (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) certification (AZ-140)
