Skills And Competencies
- Extensive experience in strategy, product, marketing, or market research within the Insurance sector, in particular Property and Casualty
- Good understanding of market dynamics, customer personas, and workflows in the Insurance sector, in particular Property and Casualty
- Proven ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile and fast-paced environments and managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use

Education
- Undergraduate degree in a business-related field required
- MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred
Responsibilities
- This role supports the identification and assessment of future growth opportunities across Insurance customer sub-segments and workflows to shape market strategy.
- Analyze and monitor demand, competitive landscape, and industry and regulatory trends, as well as emerging technologies impacting customers' businesses
- Identify and assess growth opportunities across customer sub-segments and workflows
- Drive the development of business cases including estimation of addressable market, target customer and segmentation, ARR projections, cost estimations, and financial viability assessments through data-driven analyses
- Translate vision into execution scenarios across identified growth levers, lines of business, and markets
- Actively participate in identifying and evaluating strategic partner and investment opportunities, including organic investment and mergers and acquisitions
- Maintain a strong understanding of Moody's solutions and their value propositions
- Collaborate with product, go-to-market enablement, sales, and marketing teams to align initiatives and support commercial execution
- Contribute to sales and marketing materials and thought leadership content

About The Team
The Insurance Commercial Strategy team partners with Strategic Planning, Product, Go-to-Market, Marketing, and Sales to drive objective, fact-based decision making, optimize portfolio performance, and support sustainable growth for Moody's Analytics' Insurance Business Unit. The team operates at the intersection of strategy and execution, leveraging data, market intelligence, and AI-enabled insights to identify and capture growth opportunities across the global insurance landscape. By joining this team, you will contribute to high-impact work that shapes how Moody's serves the insurance market — helping clients navigate risk and uncertainty with greater clarity and confidence.
