Direct Buyer – Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing

Oxford | 4 Days On-Site | Up to £50,000 + Share Options

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Direct Buyer to join one of the UK's fastest-growing technology businesses at a pivotal stage of its journey.

The company is developing cutting-edge robotics and automation technology and has ambitious plans to triple in size over the next year. Procurement and supply chain will be critical to making that happen, creating an opportunity to take real ownership, work closely with highly technical teams and progress quickly as the organisation scales.

The Role

  • Managing direct procurement of components and materials used within advanced robotic systems
  • Ensuring sufficient stock and supplier capacity to support an extremely ambitious production ramp-up
  • Identifying, evaluating and developing high-quality suppliers capable of supporting rapid growth
  • Managing supplier performance, lead times, pricing and continuity of supply
  • Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
