Life on the team
Are you a hands-on technician with experience across IT hardware, infrastructure and Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC)?
We’re looking for a DLC Technician to join our Tech Enablement team in Hatfield. You’ll work alongside lead consultants, technical specialists and our operations teams to help configure, stage and test technology before it reaches our customers.
This is a varied role where no two projects will be exactly the same. You’ll work across DLC infrastructure, servers, PCs and networking equipment, using your broader technical knowledge to solve problems and ensure solutions are configured correctly and ready for deployment.
You’ll also have opportunities to develop your technical skills, work with a range of leading technology vendors and support less experienced colleagues within the team.
What you’ll do
- Stage, configure and test IT hardware and Direct Liquid Cooling infrastructure.
- Work with consultants, customers and technical specialists to understand configuration requirements.
- Support DLC and Rear Door Heat Exchanger (RDHx) solutions.
- Configure PCs, servers and Cisco networking equipment.
- Carry out deployment testing and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Use automation and scripting tools including PowerShell and Ansible.
- Support build technologies such as Autopilot and SCCM.
- Create clear technical work instructions and maintain accurate records of work in progress.
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure requirements are delivered accurately and efficiently.
- Share your knowledge and help mentor junior members of the team.

What you’ll need
- 3+ years’ experience staging, configuring or supporting PCs, servers and networking equipment.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11.
- Experience with hardware from vendors such as HP, Lenovo, Dell and Cisco.
- Basic Cisco networking skills, including applying IOS and configuration files.
- Experience with scripting or automation, ideally PowerShell, Ansible, batch files or VBScript.
- Knowledge of build and deployment technologies such as Autopilot and SCCM.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to create clear, controlled technical instructions.
- Good communication skills and confidence working with customers and technical teams.
- Flexibility and the ability to deliver against tight timescales.
- The ability to undergo SC-level security clearance and credit checks.
