Direct Procurement Manager
I’m working with a world-leading business as they continue to grow and drive their global growth agenda via the power of strategic procurement.
Role Overview
They seek a Direct Procurement Manager to lead procurement for packaging or ingredients. Experience designing and implementing procurement strategy in one of these areas is critical, as is strong senior-level communication and demonstrable commercial acumen.
The role sits within the global procurement hub centred in Surrey, who provide strategic oversight for all sourcing alongside designing sourcing processes and implementing innovative new procurement strategies. Your role will be central in devising procurement strategy before working with stakeholders and suppliers within the region to ensure all procurement is both cost effective and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities
- Have the autonomy to design sourcing strategy
- Central role in devising procurement strategy
- Work with stakeholders and suppliers within the region to ensure all procurement is both cost effective and sustainable
Skills & Attributes Required
- Experience within direct sourcing is essential, ideally within an agricultural or ingredients led business
- Previous experience leading sourcing strategy or full category responsibility is highly advantageous
- A strong communicator and influencer is required
