Role Purpose
The Direct Sales Account Manager (Derry/Londonderry) is responsible for driving digital advertising growth and maximising revenue across Mediahuis Ireland’s portfolio of products and platforms. As a digital first sales leader, this role focuses on business development, strategic account management, and solution based selling to deliver measurable results for clients.
Operating as the face of Mediahuis in Northwest of Ireland, you will identify and capitalise on new opportunities, nurture and grow existing client relationships, and lead with insight driven, creative advertising solutions that address real business challenges. This role demands a proactive, commercially minded individual who thrives on developing partnerships, understanding client needs, and delivering exceptional value across digital and print media channels.

Role Responsibilities (overview)
- Drive new business development across the Northwest of Ireland, identifying, qualifying, and converting opportunities that align with Mediahuis’s digital growth strategy.
- Develop creative, insight led proposals that meet client objectives and deliver measurable impact.
- Manage and grow SME clients, building deep, multi-level relationships and ensuring long-term partnership value.
- Use data and insights to demonstrate ROI and support client investment decisions.
- Design and present compelling advertising solutions, incorporating digital, print, and partnership opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets, KPIs, and growth objectives for your region.
- Proactively research client industries, market trends, and competitive landscapes to uncover new opportunities and maintain market leadership.
- Act as a thought leader for Mediahuis digital advertising solutions, representing the brand with professionalism, credibility, and innovation.
- Ensure sales discipline and accountability through effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting via CRM.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of campaigns and high client satisfaction.
- Champion digital transformation, promoting Mediahuis’s evolving digital products and driving adoption across your client base.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in senior sales or account management.
- Proven track record in consultative, solution based sales, achieving and exceeding ambitious revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising products, platforms, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated success in developing new business pipelines and managing high value client relationships.
