About The Role...
As a Direct Sales Consultant, you will be reporting to the Sales Manager, and you will be responsible for selling Out of Home Advertising space to small and medium sized businesses.
You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, taking the time to understand their business objectives and identifying the right opportunities throughout the year. Your role will combine new business acquisition with developing and growing existing client accounts, ensuring strong, long-term relationships and repeat revenue.
What The Role Entails...
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business across direct clients, local advertisers, and emerging brands
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and pitching to negotiation, closing, and post-campaign follow-up
- Develop tailored media proposals based on client objectives, using a range of formats
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact
- Maximise revenue opportunities by upselling and cross-selling OOH media solutions
- Work closely with internal teams including planning, operations, marketing, and create to ensure smooth campaign delivery
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline activity using CRM tools
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and events to represent the business professionally
- You'll embed yourself in your clients' markets and grow your own professional brand as the go-to person for advertising expertise, understanding how you compete and compliment other media, growing your share of the market

- Experience in media
- Confident, consultative sales style with strong client-relationship skills
- Excellent listener with the ability to understand client needs, even between the lines
- Highly organised and structured in your approach, with a drive to continuously improve
- Tenacious and strong at problem-solving
- Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
- Curious, eager to learn, and passionate about media
- Positive, solutions-focused mindset
