Direct Sales Executive
Location: Peterlee (Hybrid after successful probation)
Salary: £26,678 – £29,987 + Uncapped Commission (Realistic OTE £40,000+)
Hours: Full Time | 37.5 hours per week | Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

The Role
As a Direct Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities within the SME phone and broadband market.
You'll engage with business owners, understand their requirements and recommend the most suitable connectivity solutions while identifying opportunities to introduce additional business services where appropriate.

This is a varied sales role where you'll manage your own pipeline, build lasting customer relationships and work towards achievable sales targets in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound sales activity
- Handle inbound customer enquiries and convert opportunities into sales
- Build strong relationships with SME business customers
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable connectivity solutions
- Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing and contract terms
- Manage your sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional business services
- Deliver an excellent customer experience from first conversation through to completion
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity
About You
We're looking for confident, motivated and resilient sales professionals who enjoy building relationships and achieving results.
You'll ideally have:
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in outbound sales, B2B sales, telesales or consultative sales
- Experience within telecoms, connectivity, utilities or another service-based sales environment would be advantageous but isn't essential
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence speaking with business owners and decision-makers
- Strong objection-handling and negotiation skills
- A positive, self-motivated attitude with a genuine desire to succeed
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce would be beneficial
