Direct Sourcer | Watford | Talent Acquisition

12 month FTC
3 days per week in Watford / Hybrid

We're looking for a Direct Sourcer to join our growing Talent Acquisition team in Watford and play a key role in strengthening our direct sourcing capability. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves market mapping, talent intelligence, personalised outreach and building proactive talent pipelines.

What You'll Be Doing

Direct Sourcing & Talent Attraction

  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies based on business hiring needs.
  • Identify and engage high-calibre talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, social media, referrals and networking.
  • Conduct market mapping and talent intelligence research.
  • Create personalised outreach campaigns that showcase our employer brand.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill vacancies.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition Partners to deliver qualified shortlists.
  • Provide market insights on talent availability, competitor activity and candidate trends.
  • Advise on sourcing strategies and candidate motivations.
  • Support a seamless candidate journey from initial engagement through to interview.

Pipeline & Process Excellence

  • Build and maintain high-quality, hire-ready talent pools within Phenom CRM.
  • Monitor sourcing performance and key metrics, including interview conversion ratios.
  • Contribute to sourcing best practices, playbooks and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of team KPIs, SLAs and service standards.

  • Consistent delivery of high-quality candidate shortlists.
  • Proactive talent pipelines reducing reactive recruitment.
  • Improved speed-to-shortlist and candidate engagement.
  • Recognition as a sourcing expert who helps shape sourcing capability across the business.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Sourcer, Resourcer or Talent Acquisition Specialist within agency, RPO or in-house environments.
  • Strong direct sourcing experience across Head Office, Retail or Distribution functions.
  • Advanced sourcing and search capability, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean techniques.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Highly organised, commercially aware and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Naturally curious with the ability to quickly understand business needs.
