Salary: £45,000-£60,000 pro rata
Duration: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract

The Opportunity
A leading UK multinational business is seeking an experienced Direct Tax Compliance Specialist to join its in-house tax team on a 3-month FTC. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a complex corporate environment, supporting direct tax compliance across a diverse portfolio of UK entities.
Working closely with finance, shared services, and wider business stakeholders, you will help ensure high-quality corporation tax compliance and governance across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review UK corporation tax returns for submission to HMRC.
- Gather, review, and validate tax information from finance teams and business stakeholders.
- Ensure tax data is accurate, complete, and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Act as a key liaison between the tax function and the wider business.
- Support the delivery of direct tax compliance obligations across multiple UK entities.
- Contribute to maintaining robust tax governance and compliance processes.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in UK corporation tax compliance gained either in industry or practice.
- A strong understanding of corporate tax returns and associated compliance processes.
- Experience using corporation tax software (OneSource experience advantageous).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification (or be working towards qualification).
