Reporting to: Founder

Lead the next chapter of Elemed.
Every successful recruitment leader reaches the same crossroads.
You can continue building someone else's business or you can help shape one. We're looking for a recruitment leader with the credibility to build high-performing teams, the commercial instinct to continue winning business, and the ambition to help define the future of Elemed.
You'll combine hands-on commercial leadership with the opportunity to develop exceptional people, influence business strategy and help shape the next phase of our growth.
You'll still be close to the market, leading from the front through your own client relationships and high-value permanent and contract placements, but your greatest impact will come from developing exceptional recruiters, creating a culture of accountability and excellence, and building a business that continues to set the standard within specialist HealthTech recruitment.
If you're looking for another management role, this probably isn't it.
If you're looking for the opportunity to help shape the future of a respected specialist recruitment business, we'd love to talk.
Why this role exists
Elemed has spent the last decade building a respected reputation as a specialist recruitment partner to the global HealthTech industry.
The foundations are built. The reputation is established. Now we're looking for the leader who will help take Elemed to its next stage of growth.
We're looking for someone who wants more than another leadership title. Someone who wants the opportunity to influence the direction of a business, develop exceptional recruiters and help shape the future of our organisation.
You'll inherit a strong foundation: delivering across Europe and the US in a Founder-Led business with a seat at leadership level.
You'll have the freedom to shape the next chapter of an already respected specialist recruitment business, building on the strong foundations already in place while taking Elemed to its next level of growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
