Your role

Lead Investment Strategy and Execution

  • Source, structure, and execute complex investment transactions including M&A, land/development projects, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead underwriting, financial modeling, and return analysis (DCF, IRR, accretion/dilution, sensitivity) to assess investment viability and optimize capital deployment.
  • Oversee preparation and presentation of Investment Committee materials, ensuring strategic clarity, analytical rigor, and actionable recommendations.
  • Manage the full investment lifecycle from initial screening, due diligence and all the way through closing and post-close performance tracking.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders (including JV partners, advisors, and lenders) to negotiate key deal terms and ensure alignment on commercial and legal outcomes.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with internal teams to align development, design, and operational considerations with investment objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investment activity within assigned markets or asset classes.
  • Guide junior team members in financial analysis, due diligence, and materials preparation; serve as a mentor and subject matter expert across the Acquisitions & Investments team.

Portfolio & Market Insights

  • Provide thought leadership on market trends, competitive dynamics, and capital flows affecting the data center and digital infrastructure sectors.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for portfolio optimization, asset recycling, or capital partnership expansion.
  • Contribute to regional strategy discussions and long-term growth planning.

New Market entries

  • Work closely with the New Markets business development team to assess and prioritize potential new market entries as part of broader regional strategy
  • Contribute to defining most appropriate market entry route (Acquisitions, joint venture, strategic partnerships, greenfield development) and implement execution

What you’ll need

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in real estate or infrastructure investments, corporate finance, private equity, or investment banking.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Expert-level financial modeling and valuation skills (Excel, Argus).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional deal teams and manage complex transactions through closing.
  • Deep understanding of real estate and infrastructure fundamentals, capital structures, and investment metrics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to translate financial insights into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Strong executive presence, analytical rigor, and commercial judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of European power markets is a plus
  • Second language (beside English) preferable
