YOUR ROLE
The AI & Digital Workplace team helps organisations transform how work gets done through AI, digital technology and organisational change. We enable clients to accelerate enterprise AI adoption, realise measurable value and build sustainable AI-enabled ways of working.
This is a high-profile Director role within Capgemini Invent, combining client leadership, business development and practice growth. You will advise senior leaders on Workplace AI strategy, lead large-scale AI transformation programmes and be responsible for generating more than £2m in annual consulting revenue.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Advising C-suite executives on Workplace AI strategy, value cases, platform selection and roadmaps across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT Enterprise and related technologies.
- Leading end-to-end AI adoption programmes, including communications, learning, leadership engagement, champion networks and value measurement.
- Overseeing enterprise AI deployments, covering licensing, security, identity, data readiness, integrations and the evolution from assistants to agents.
- Establishing responsible AI governance frameworks, including policies, controls, risk management and value tracking.
- Designing operating models, Centres of Excellence, ownership structures and service management approaches that sustain long-term adoption.
- Growing Capgemini Invent's Workplace AI capability, propositions, assets and strategic partnerships.
- Leading and developing multidisciplinary teams of AI, technology and change consultants.
- Building senior client relationships and maintaining a strong business development pipeline.
- Creating thought leadership and innovative propositions that strengthen Capgemini Invent's market position.
You will also contribute to business development activities, proposition and practice development, recruitment, thought leadership, client events, and continuous learning and professional development.

YOUR PROFILE
You will already be a recognised leader in Workplace AI or digital workplace consulting, with experience leading change and technology teams in a major consultancy and building senior client relationships.
You Will Bring
- Experience leading the strategy and enterprise deployment of workplace AI platforms, particularly Microsoft 365 Copilot and Anthropic Claude, with exposure to Gemini, ChatGPT Enterprise or similar.
- Proven delivery of end-to-end AI enablement, including change, adoption, communications, learning, technology deployment, governance and operating models.
- Strong relationships with senior stakeholders across technology, HR, operations and transformation functions.
- Deep understanding of generative and agentic AI and their impact on work, workforce and employee experience.
You Will Also Have
- Strong consulting experience in digital workplace, AI or business transformation.
- A successful track record in business development and account management, with responsibility for generating c.£2m annual consulting revenue.
- Experience working effectively in matrix organisations, securing support across teams to sell and deliver solutions.
- Sound knowledge of responsible AI, data protection and information governance.
- Strong personal credibility and influence with clients and colleagues.
- A collaborative, outcome-focused style, combining empathy, commercial acumen and confidence at all organisational levels.
