Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on AI transformation leader to reimagine our deal review process — replacing manual, spreadsheet-driven review with agentic AI and intelligent automation. You'll bring deep expertise in applied AI; the commercial finance, sales operations, and revenue recognition specialists on the team already know the current process and will partner with you closely. Your job is to see what AI can replace, augment, or redesign end-to-end.

This role will lead the redesign of the process from the ground up, covering:

  • Deal approval & sales process (DAR, deal desk, credit checks, payment terms)
  • Commercial Finance and Revenue recognition workflows
  • Delivery in parallel with a new CRM implementation — so solutions are designed for the target state, not retrofitted onto the legacy process

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will partner closely with Commercial Finance leadership, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Revenue Recognition and IT, who bring the process knowledge, while you bring the AI and automation expertise to redesign how the work gets done.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Automation Leadership

  • Own the AI/automation strategy and delivery roadmap for the programme, from opportunity identification through to deployment
  • Design and deploy agentic AI, LLM-based and intelligent automation solutions that replace manual review, reconciliation and validation work
  • Build reusable AI agent capability that can extend across the wider finance function over time
  • Set the technical and governance standards for AI use: model risk management, human-in-the-loop controls, audit trails, responsible AI principles
  • Build AI fluency across teams — train people to use, direct, and supervise AI agents day to day
  • Own end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives: from idea → design → deployment → adoption, measured by cycle-time reduction and capacity freed up
  • Applied to Deal Approval, Revenue Recognition & Sales Process

Embedding & Scaling

  • Enhance Deal Approval Request (DAR) routing and risk-based approvals
  • Automate credit checks, payment terms validation, and contract/document consistency checks
  • Automate revenue recognition trigger detection and deal review
  • Partner with the CRM implementation team so DAR/approval automation is designed into the target CRM from the outset, not bolted on after go-live
  • Work with Commercial Finance, Deal Desk and Revenue Recognition specialists to translate their process knowledge into AI-ready workflows
  • Ensure AI solutions align with control frameworks, audit requirements, and revenue recognition compliance standards (e.g. ASC 606 / IFRS 15), with support from finance and compliance specialists
  • Strengthen controls through automated validation, exception handling, audit trails and risk monitoring
  • Standardise workflows across previously siloed regional teams (APJ, EMEA, NA)
  • Align with broader Finance transformation programmes and sales operating model changes

Qualifications

AI & Technology Experience

  • Proven track record designing and deploying agentic AI, LLM-based, or intelligent automation solutions within a complex operational environment — finance, insurance, legal, supply chain, or other rules-heavy process settings all transfer well
  • Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, agent design, and workflow automation / RPA platforms (e.g. Copilot, UiPath, Power Automate, custom LLM agent frameworks)
  • Experience building the business case and value realisation model for AI investment — quantifying capacity freed, cycle time reduced, error rates improved
  • Understanding of AI governance, model risk management, and responsible AI principles
  • Experience integrating AI/automation with CRM or ERP systems and their underlying data architecture

Helpful, Not Essential

  • Exposure to commercial finance, deal desk, sales finance, or revenue operations processes — or genuine curiosity to learn them quickly alongside specialists who know the current process
  • Experience operating in a multi-entity, international organisation with global sales operations

Leadership

  • Track record leading enterprise-wide AI or technology transformation programmes across multiple regions or business units (sector-agnostic)
  • Proven ability to drive adoption and behavioural change among non-technical teams
