Your role at Clorox:
This role is a senior commercial leadership position responsible for AMEA (Asia, MENA, Europe, ANZA) Sales functional leadership, International Club Strategy, and Commercial Integration. The role reports to the VP & GM, AMEA. It exists to:
- Build a best-in-market AMEA Sales organization through talent, capability, and functional standards.

In this role, you will:
40% — AMEA Sales Talent, Capability & Functional Leadership
- Owns the talent acquisition and development, succession, capability development, functional standards, and the sales operating model across AMEA.
- Build and deploy a common AMEA sales capability curriculum — Strategic Sales Planning, Integrated Commercial Planning, customer planning to achieve sales deliverables, AMPS (Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing and Shelving), JBP development, distributor management, negotiation, category selling, eCommerce, and Net Revenue Management (Price Pack Architecture, Trade Funds Effectiveness and Efficiency, and strategic promotion pricing) — with clear standards, certification, and measurement.
- Define the long-term AMEA sales organization design, capability roadmap, and talent pipeline required to support PMU growth, and act as a peer to PMU GMs on org and talent choices.
- Lead AMEA Sales Leadership Team routines: capability reviews, talent reviews, performance differentiation, and pay-for-performance discipline.
- Design and steward sales incentive, field execution, and recognition programs that reinforce Clorox culture and drive performance differentiation.
30% — International Club Growth Agenda (AMEA, Canada, LatAm)
- Translate Costco's, Sam's Club's, and PriceSmart's global buying strategies into a clear Clorox growth agenda across priority categories, markets, and items in AMEA, Canada, and LatAm.
- Identify and prioritize whitespace opportunities that can scale profitably over the multi-year plan; build decision-ready cases covering size of prize, margin, SKU fit, operational requirements, and risks.
- Develop regional innovation pantries of sales-ready items with clear superiority versus current and potential club offerings.
- Shape one aligned global customer narrative so Clorox shows up with speed and discipline; sit on the Global Costco Team and functionally connect with the U.S. Club team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

20% — International Club Governance & Value Protection
- Operate global guardrails for Costco / club pricing, trade support, promotional investment, terms, and exception management to protect value and prevent cross-market arbitrage.
- Ensure global, regional, and local SKUs are classified consistently against agreed criteria (formulation, claims, regulatory feasibility, supply chain scalability, source, value structure, economics).
- Surface cross-market risk, pricing exposure, precedent concerns, and customer requests requiring escalation before commitments are made.
- Partner with C&C/H&H Sales leadership, BU leadership, Finance, and local teams to document decisions, route approvals, and maintain a single source of truth for global club decisions.
10% — Execution Readiness & AMEA Functional Standards
- Set AMEA functional standards for distributor management, key account management, JBPs, trade investment ROI, commercial controls, and compliance — with PMUs owning local execution.
- Oversee the work to move club opportunities from idea to execution: commercial planning, item setup, sourcing, supply chain, regulatory, quality, social compliance, packaging, claims, and customer service readiness.
- Determine what must be consistent globally and what can flex locally so Clorox preserves scale while meeting market needs; build simple routines that clarify who decides, recommends, executes, and escalates.
- Represent Sales on the AMEA Functional Leadership Team; provide functional input into NCS, profit, margin, trade, distribution, and share targets (PMU GMs own delivery).
What we look for:
Experience
- 15+ years of sales, sales planning, commercial strategy, and/or customer leadership experience in FMCG/CPG across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, distributor, eCommerce, and emerging channels.
- Head of Sales experience required; strong track record leading through influence across geographies, functions, and business units in a matrixed organization.
- Proven ability to lead senior sales talent — hiring, calibration, capability development, and succession — in multinational FMCG environments.
- Experience with large, complex global retailers strongly preferred (Costco, Sam's Club, PriceSmart, or comparable club/mass customers).
- Strong commercial and P&L orientation with expertise in NRM, trade investment, pricing architecture, commercial controls, and profitability optimization.
- Regional AMEA or multi-market international experience highly desirable (Asia, MENA/Africa, Europe, ANZA); LatAm/Canada exposure a plus given club scope.
- Previous experience as General Manager, Country Manager, or Regional Sales Director in a complex market highly desirable; role is a succession candidate for PMU GM or broader International/SBU commercial leadership.
- Background in Home Care, Cleaning, Bags & Wraps, Litter, or adjacent consumer categories preferred.
