Director and Service Lead - Fire Engineering - London
London | £110,000 - £130,000 depending on qualifying criteria | Full-time, with discretionary flexible working applications after probation
Hunter Dunning is working with a multidisciplinary consultancy to appoint a Director and Service Lead - Fire Engineering to establish and lead a new fire engineering department in London. With Board-level support, you will oversee departmental strategy, technical standards, commercial performance, and team development across existing buildings, refurbishment, remediation, and new development projects.

Your Experience
- Chartered Fire Engineer with the Institution of Fire Engineers; IFSM accreditation preferred
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong portfolio of complex fire engineering projects
- Experience with higher-risk buildings, fire strategies, and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Building Regulations 2010
- Proven experience in business development, recruitment, and technical leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and digital project, document, and information management systems
