Panthera Partners is supporting a leading private equity infrastructure investment platform in the search for a Director of Asset Management to join its London office.

Our client manages a diversified portfolio of energy transition, transport, utilities, and digital infrastructure investments across Europe. With a highly active value-add investment strategy, the platform works closely with management teams to drive operational improvement, strategic growth, and long-term value creation across its portfolio companies.

The Director of Asset Management will play a central role in maximising portfolio performance, partnering with investment professionals and executive management teams to develop and execute value creation plans, identify commercial growth opportunities, evaluate acquisitions and bolt-on investments, and support strategic expansion initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead engagement with portfolio company management teams, help shape business plans, assess refinancing opportunities, optimise capital structures, and drive initiatives that enhance both operational and financial performance. The role will also involve representing the fund at portfolio company board level, serving as a Board Director or Observer, and providing strategic oversight across growth initiatives, M&A opportunities, financing decisions, and overall business performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
