Role Description
The Director/Associate Director will lead and oversee consultancy projects within CHPK Group’s Fire Engineering and external wall consultancy, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong client relationships. In this full-time, on-site role based in London, the individual will manage project teams, coordinate resources, provide strategic guidance, act as a key point of contact, QA, and sign off design documents for clients from inception to completion.

Responsibilities include:
- Shaping and reviewing project scopes
- Monitoring performance and budgets
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement across the business
The Director/Associate Director will support business development activities, mentor and develop team members, and collaborate with other directors to drive growth and maintain the company’s reputation for excellence.

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience directing multidisciplinary project teams and mentoring colleagues.
- Proven expertise in Fire Engineering and external wall consultancy consultancy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and delivery to agreed time, quality assurance, and cost.
- Excellent client-facing skills, including stakeholder management, relationship building, negotiation, and clear communication across all levels.
- In-depth understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with sound commercial awareness and a focus on value and quality.
- MiFireE and CEng.
- Ability to work on-site in London on a full-time basis and collaborate effectively with regional teams across the UK.
