Paid Media Director – E-commerce / Performance Marketing

£70,000–£80,000 | Fully Remote | UK

We’re partnering with an established boutique digital agency looking to appoint an experienced Paid Media Director to take a leading role across its growing portfolio of e-commerce clients.

This is a senior, hands-on strategic position for someone who has built their career agency-side, working closely with e-commerce and consumer brands to deliver sophisticated, commercially focused Paid Media strategies.

  • Role Overview:

    • Take senior ownership of client relationships and performance strategy.
    • Work across Paid Social and Paid Search while ensuring activity is aligned with the wider commercial objectives of each client.
  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Understand the platforms, data, and performance drivers sufficiently well to interrogate results, identify opportunities, and confidently determine what should happen next.
    • Communicate complex performance issues clearly, present recommendations with confidence and credibility, and be comfortable challenging senior clients when you believe a different approach will deliver better results.
    • Provide strategic direction and support to other members of the Paid Media team, helping raise standards and develop capability across the agency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
