About the Role
Acuity Analytics is seeking a high-performing Director, Business Development, to drive growth across Corporate & Investment Banks and Commercial Banks, throughout the EMEA region.
Based in London, this is a senior, quota-carrying role responsible for originating, developing, and closing new business opportunities, while building long-term strategic relationships with senior banking executives.
The successful candidate will possess a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship-building capabilities, and a proven track record of generating revenue within financial services. We welcome candidates from investment banking, corporate banking, capital markets, financial services sales, financial data and analytics providers, fintech, consulting, or other client-facing roles serving the banking industry.

The role is London-based and requires regular travel across EMEA to engage clients and develop strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles across Corporate and Investment banks, Commercial banks and advisory firms throughout EMEA.
- Business Development & Origination
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within target financial institutions.
- Establish and execute strategic account plans to penetrate new clients and expand existing relationships.
- Leverage personal networks and industry relationships to create a sustainable pipeline of opportunities.
- Develop senior-level relationships across front office, COO, CFO, CRO, CIO, Operations, Transformation, and Procurement functions.
- Solution Selling
- Understand client priorities, challenges, and transformation agendas.
- Develop compelling business cases and value propositions tailored to client needs.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
- Coordinate internal subject matter experts and delivery teams throughout the sales process.

- Achieve assigned revenue targets through both new logo acquisition and expansion within existing accounts across areas including:

Essential
- Proven track record of originating, developing, and closing complex B2B opportunities within financial services.
- Strong network and relationships across banks and financial institutions in EMEA.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders including Managing Directors, Heads of Business, COOs, CFOs, CROs, CIOs, Transformation Leaders, and Procurement executives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Highly Desirable
- Previous experience in client-facing roles within investment banking, corporate banking, capital markets, financial services sales, consulting, fintech, data & analytics, or professional services.
- Experience selling managed services, consulting, outsourcing, technology, analytics, or transformation solutions.
- Knowledge of front-office, research, lending, risk, compliance, or operations functions within financial institutions.
- Additional European language capabilities.
