Role Overview

PURPOSE OF JOB

The role will work closely with the Head of ICS Sales - UK & CI, the Head of Funds, other Business Development Directors, asset class heads and jurisdictional MD’s.

To grow the Fund & Corporate Services client base through expanding existing and new intermediary relationships and direct sales activities. The role includes involvement in Business Development strategy, alongside the Head of Sales and Head of Funds and execution of that strategy. The role holder will ensure annual new business targets are achieved.

Main Responsibilities And Duties

  • Drive the sales process from origination to completion.
  • Arrange and attend business meetings with intermediaries and prospective clients, with asset class or jurisdictional heads as appropriate.
  • First contact for new business opportunities in relation to Fund & Corporate Services by phone, email or JTC website.
  • Proposal creation, RFP responses, pitch presentations, and action point follow up.
  • Manage and build the new business pipeline on Salesforce.
  • Prepare client presentations and materials.
  • Prompt follow-up on action points from business meetings.
  • Help identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients and new partnerships, particularly in relation to fund and loan administration for Private Credit managers.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets, opportunities and customer needs.
  • Build long-term relationships with fund managers, investment houses and professional intermediaries alongside relevant senior colleagues.
  • Attend conferences, speak on and moderate panels as necessary and contribute to articles promoting JTC.
  • Build brand and service awareness with intermediaries.
  • Ensure good corporate governance in accordance with regulatory requirements while aligning to the Group’s overall aims, business plan and long-term strategy.
  • Adhere to Risk & Associate Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
  • Be responsible for analysing, assessing and managing the risks associated with new business/potential clients, as well as, and where relevant, the Group’s business as a whole.
  • Remain aware of the obligations for the reporting of unusual transactions and act as a guide to the division in this respect.
  • Develop self and ensure knowledge in relevant field at all times.
  • Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary or defined by Management and/or Group Board.

Essential Requirements

  • Senior professional with proven track record of sales / lead conversion.
  • Experience in fund and corporate administration solutions.
  • Established network of intermediaries and relevant target client base.
  • Broad-based knowledge and demonstrated ability to establish and manage a sales process, from lead generation to relationship management, nurturing a prospect pipeline, driving an agenda, and adapting to a fast-paced, challenging sales environment.
  • Tactful, effective and persuasive communication skills suited to engaging and supporting high-profile prospects and clients.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Capacity to deliver results both independently, as well as collaborate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders, in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Initiative to continually broaden your industry knowledge and apply it in your daily work.
  • Process-driven, methodical approach to completing assigned tasks.
  • Excellent multitasking skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Regular travel will be expected.
  • Arrange and support corporate events to promote the JTC ICS Division.
  • Attendance at and participation in industry events.
