How you Will Contribute
The Director, Business Development will strategically position and sell our full suite of HEOR services to key pharmaceutical budget holders. To be successful in this role you will have a deep understanding of HEOR and the contribution it provides to bring new therapies to market and make them available to the people who's lives depend on them.
Experience: To be successful as the Director BD, HEOR at Red Nucleus, you will need to have a deep understanding of HEOR solutions, and how to engage and sell to decision makers in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry in areas of Access, Medical, Clinical and Commercial.
You will have experience selling solutions and services to Pharma and biotech leaders such as:
- Evidence Synthesis: Literature review, Feasibility assessments, understanding of ITC methods, including NMA, MAIC, STC, ML-NMR, PICO simulations.
- Modeling: Cost-effectiveness, de novo models, Budget impact, Cost of illness, Epidemiological models, ICER review
- Value Demonstration: Global Value Dossiers, AMCP Dossiers, Value Messaging and testing
- HTA Support: HTA Submissions, early scientific advice
- JCA Support Services: PICO identification and simulation, Systematic Literature Reviews, JCA Dossiers
- Statistics and RWE: Post hoc trial analyses, RWE source selection and analysis, Patient reported outcomes (PROs)

Responsibilities
- Gain access and establish meetings with key decision makers and influencers to identify, qualify, consult and close HEOR opportunities
- Proactively target new accounts
- Expand accounts once opened (new and existing)
- Create and update Strategic Account Development Plans
- Develop strong and strategic client relationships within target accounts
- Consult and collaborate with internal service delivery teams within our lines of business to craft appropriate solutions that meet the unique business requirements of identified opportunities
- Write proposals, develop presentations and draft RFPs as part of the sales process and cycle
- Manage and track pipeline and opportunities using SalesForce
- Lead pricing negotiations with clients to ensure all business sold meets profitability targets
- Ensure a seamless transition from the sales process to the delivery team. Follow procedures and methodologies through the sales cycle and hand-off to delivery
- Identify opportunities for other Red Nucleus business units to facilitate cross-selling
- Provide direction and input towards targeted Marketing initiatives including attendance at key industry conferences.

About You
- Minimum educational requirement is Bachelor’s degree, and a preference for an advanced degree in Life Science or Business (MBA)
- Prior experience with consistently achieving quotas in the range of $2M+
- 7-10 years of proven and relevant experience specifically selling HEOR services to the pharmaceutical industry:
- Understanding of the drug development process as it relates to timeliness of service offerings for targeting new accounts
