The Role
As a Commercial Finance Specialist, you will support business and customer decision making through financial analysis, commercial insight, and disciplined execution across the deal and delivery lifecycle. The role focuses on translating financial data into clear recommendations that improve profitability, manage risk, and enable sustainable growth.
You will balance analytical work with close collaboration across sales, delivery, and finance teams, contributing to commercial outcomes that are measurable and aligned to business objectives.
- Analyze commercial and financial data to support pricing, margin, and profitability decisions across customer engagements
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support deals, renewals, and ongoing performance
- Partner with sales, delivery, and finance stakeholders to ensure commercial terms are understood, governed, and executed as agreed
- Monitor financial performance against plans, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions with clear financial impact
- Support deal reviews by assessing financial risk, assumptions, and compliance with internal controls and policies
- Prepare clear financial summaries and insights for stakeholders to support decision making at key milestones
- Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial finance processes, tools, and reporting

Who You Are
- Experience in commercial finance, financial analysis, pricing, or a closely related finance role
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements, margins, and cost drivers to support business decisions
- Experience building and interpreting financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses
- Keen interest in learning and implementing automation and AI processes
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, practical insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Experience working with cross functional teams across sales, delivery, and finance
- Proficiency with financial analysis and reporting tools, including advanced use of spreadsheets
- Understanding of commercial controls, governance, and financial compliance principles
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years of people management, team-lead experience
- Experience supporting customer facing deals or contracts in a services or technology environment
- Familiarity with quote to cash, pricing governance, or deal approval processes
- Experience with financial performance management or business case development
- Exposure to global or multi country business environments
