Role Purpose

Indegene is seeking an experienced and recognised senior change management leader to drive consulting growth and business development related to change management, refine and optimise Indegene’s change management capability and, where needed, lead complex change management transformations.

The successful candidate will work across Indegene’s change community, serve as Indegene's consulting change lead, driving enterprise-wide change strategies for digital transformation, commercial excellence, operating model redesign, AI adoption, and business process transformation initiatives across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organisations.

This role requires a proven change expert with extensive consulting experience, a strong industry reputation, and a track record of delivering large-scale, complex transformation programmes across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Consulting Growth & Business Development

  • Drive growth of change management related engagements by identifying and shaping new opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.
  • Lead change management workstreams in proposals, RFPs, client pitches, and strategic account planning.
  • Partner with consulting, technology, data, and commercial leaders to ensure change is integrated into transformation solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on change management to senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives, business leaders, and transformation sponsors.
  • Represent Indegene as a recognised change management expert within client organisations and external industry forums.
  • Contribute thought leadership, white papers, industry presentations, and market-facing content to strengthen Indegene's positioning as a consulting partner with change management expertise.

Change Management Capability Development

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of change management consultants.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development of change management practitioners.
  • Develop and institutionalise change management methodologies, frameworks, tools, templates, and governance models.
  • Should have expertise in user journeys and assets and comms buildup strategy.
  • Champion innovation in change management by integrating digital adoption, AI enablement, and modern organisational development practices.
  • Ensure integration and alignment with broader change management community within Indegene.
  • Co-lead (with partner outside consulting) a global community of change management practitioners, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and capability development.
  • Establish, lead, and scale (working with partner outside consulting) Indegene's global Change & Adoption consulting capability.

Change Transformation Programme Leadership

  • Lead large-scale, complex change management transformation across multiple geographies and business functions.
  • Design and implement enterprise-wide change strategies supporting technology implementation, AI adoption, operating model redesign, and process transformation.
  • Ensure successful adoption of digital platforms, commercial transformation initiatives, shared service models, AI-enabled capabilities, and business process redesign programmes.
  • Work closely with client leadership teams to align organisational objectives, workforce readiness, and business outcomes.
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for transformation-related risks, resistance management, and adoption challenges.
  • Track and measure change effectiveness, adoption metrics, and value realisation.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, Management, or related field.
  • PROSCI Change Management Certification (mandatory).
  • Advanced certification in Change Management, Organisational Development, Transformation, Agile, or Project Management.
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Experience

  • 12+ years of consulting and change management experience, including significant experience within life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device organisations.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex global transformation programmes.
  • Experience building and scaling change management capabilities from the ground up.
  • Demonstrated success in building and running a global community of change practitioners.
  • Experience driving change for digital transformation, AI adoption, operating model transformation, and business process redesign initiatives.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience with executive and C-suite leaders.
  • Experience leading international transformation programmes across Europe, North America, and APAC.
  • Experience working in matrixed global organisations and distributed teams.

Skills & Competencies

  • Recognised subject matter expert in Change Management and Organisational Transformation.
  • Deep expertise in the PROSCI methodology and enterprise change management practices.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and grow consulting opportunities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in highly complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability.
