About Role
As Director, Client Sales in the UK based commercial team, you will be responsible for leading and developing the relationships with advertisers directly. You will be tasked with maximising advertising revenue across Vevo in both the UK and other international territories directly from clients whilst partnering with the agency sales team where relevant to ensure a collaborative and partner first approach.
As the world of streaming, TV and Video continues to converge, Vevo presents advertisers a quality, culturally powerful, global opportunity. Premium content, broadcast size audiences and a cross platform distribution that has, in recent years accelerated into the Living room via CTV makes this an incredibly exciting time for our business.
We're looking for a senior, passionate and brave sales leader to help clients understand and realise the opportunity that Vevo represents as consumption fragments and user behaviours continue to shift whilst the power of our content continues to thrive.

As part of a dynamic sales team you will need to have a significant influence on the working culture, ensuring positivity, proactivity and a collaborative approach with clients, partners and all internal teams and stakeholders.
This role reports to the Senior Vice President, International Sales and Partnerships with a dotted line to the Vice President, UK and International Sales.
In this role, as a member of our team, you will:
- Work closely with leadership to develop the best strategies and approach to maximize revenue through client direct relationships and representation.
- Be responsible for delivering against specific revenue targets - both growth of existing and incremental business.
- Provide first class sales representation, developing Vevo’s positioning, service and relationships with key advertisers across all levels.
- Work in partnership with the agency sales team to optimise our client direct relationships and drive collaboration and success where appropriate.
- Drive Vevo’s prominence within the specific customer base, ensuring value proposition and opportunity is understood across all levels within our target clients.
- Develop and build a healthy and accurate pipeline of new business in order to deliver against revenue targets.
- Provide accurate weekly and monthly revenue projections as requested.
- Collaborate with all internal teams in the UK and US to support our sales efforts and ensure effective service and delivery of revenue.

Requirements
- Have proven experience in client direct advertising sales and be able to demonstrate this through significant revenue generation and growth.
- Have strong and deep client relationships with UK advertisers and ideally their international/global teams where relevant.
- Established contacts and a track record of success within the centralised media hubs such as Amsterdam a big plus.
- Be a great communicator and presenter with the ability to influence and persuade successfully in both 1 on 1, and bigger group environments.
- A strong understanding and grasp of the Video/AV advertising landscape and how that fits within the broader media market - both UK and Internationally.
- A solid understanding of the programmatic marketplace and an ability to translate the different and evolving opportunities to clients.
- Organised with a focused approach and an ability to prioritise in order to maximise outcomes.
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to work within a team and to support and collaborate with others to get the job done.
£110,000 - £120,000 a year
