What’s the role?
To share technical knowledge and experience managing the core business platforms and promoting the use of Investran and other related software across Gen II’s US offices, maximizing their value and ensuring consistent deployment and use of these global platforms, within a control-based environment.
To maintain and develop relationships with the client team and clients and to promote the positive image of Gen II through the professional application of our services and knowledge via the use of these global platforms.

To oversee and build a team of relevant subject matter experts, growing Gen II’s client base by leading client pitches, from a systems and automation perspective, and managing subsequent client migrations from a systems, data, and reporting perspective.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as a system subject matter expert, supporting Client Service teams to expand Gen II’s client base through the effective and efficient utilization of systems. Provide specialized support, conduct health checks, and offer guidance on best practices concerning the automation of reporting outputs and processes across all Gen II jurisdictions.
- Drive excellent levels of client delivery, via systems and automation, in line with Gen II standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with client services teams to understand complex structures and provide comprehensive support to clients and client-facing teams from a system structuring and setup perspective.
- Take ownership of data remediation and efficient output automation for Investran and other related global platforms.
- Manage the development of reporting outputs and the parameterization of various applications.
- Identify, analyze, and specify all upcoming platform changes and options.
- Lead in the preparation, execution, and testing of system releases.
- Maintain a client-focused approach, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Serve as a point of reference for the business, addressing and resolving issues and queries related to the use of Investran and other platforms under your remit.
- Stay updated on system releases that impact the future efficiencies and functions of the platform to ensure best practices and methodologies are implemented into standards and procedures.
- Proactively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required by your line manager and the Client Service Applications team.
- Drive growth in fund clients through the provision of first-rate service.

The ideal background for this role:
- Ideally a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; ACA or ACCA preferred.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in platform management and the finance industry.
- Demonstrated skills in fund system setup, configuration, platform management, troubleshooting, and ongoing development.
- Hands-on experience with bespoke report writing and output automation.
- A good understanding of GDPR and the risks associated with personal and sensitive data.
- Practical experience in system training and support functions.
- Proficient skills in Investran and Excel.
- Experience with Yardi, VBA, and investor portals preferred.
Role Location/Hybrid Schedule
This role can be based in our Southampton, Jersey, London, or Luxembourg office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available, and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
