Role Description
Live Nation is committed to delivering first-class concert and event experiences for fans, artists, and tournament organizing bodies.
The Director, Client Services & Events will have the responsibility for operational planning and delivery of entertainment shows and fan experience activations during major global events and bespoke activities. The role involves the end-to-end management of groundbreaking new music platforms on a global scale, with multiple stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role with an emphasis on operational delivery and execution for shows and relationship management with key partners, organizing bodies, and artist management, ensuring an excellent experience for all stakeholders. Successful management and timely operational delivery of events, experiences, and shows across relationships with premium rights holders is key.
The role will work in tandem with the current operations and events team to cover event operation needs alongside project management with local market resources while maintaining centralized client management, relationships, and operational oversight, ensuring the successful completion of events with a key focus on stakeholder satisfaction, financial efficiency, and scrutiny of specifications and costs.
This position has a primary focus on the relationship and activities of Live Nation’s key partners and will be responsible for maximizing the value of these relationships. These relationships require meticulous Account Management to maintain excellent, best-in-class, standards year-round, guiding the relationship strategically.
This role includes extensive global travel.

Who you are
Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple clients/partners/projects and key relationships
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrable experience managing outdoor events or shows and delivery of multiple projects at the same time essential
- Good expertise in planning, operational production, and technical requirements
- Strong knowledge of industry best practice
- Strong project management skills and expertise in scoping and delivering shows and events, successfully and on time and on budget
- Expertise in managing successful supplier and stakeholder relationships, contract negotiations, agreements, and procurement
- Demonstrable understanding of legal compliance and regulations for event operations
- Demonstrable business and financial acumen with a strong understanding of budgetary planning, forecast, and control
- Highly organized, with strong analytical thinking and ability to evaluate data
- Demonstrable problem-solving, decision making, and judgement for improving processes, increasing efficiency, and profits
- Strong engaging communicator both written and verbal with high attention to detail

What the role includes
- Manage a portfolio of key clients across multiple categories and events
- Successful management and timely operational delivery of all shows and events
- Create and manage processes that deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for events. Resolve or escalate financial concerns as required
- Continuously strengthen day-to-day client relationships through exceptional client service, detailed knowledge of client’s industry and business, impeccable delivery, and client engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key Live Nation teams to ensure the desired program delivery and results for clients
- Provide direction for the team in terms of program execution, resource deployment, program recaps and reporting, and special projects/initiatives
- Develop a detailed understanding of the client’s business and identify opportunities for business and/or brand growth through entertainment marketing programs
- Oversee delivery of the contract(s)
- Foster an environment which is team-oriented and in which the exchange of ideas among staff is encouraged
- Explore new technologies, marketing trends, and data & analytics practices to add value to clients
- Identify opportunities to engage internal resources
