Technology and Commercial Lawyer, Director

A leading global financial institution is looking for an experienced and collaborative solicitor to join its Corporate and Technology Legal team. You'll draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial, technology, outsourcing, cloud/SaaS, end-user licence, market data, software development, and data processing agreements, while providing practical legal advice on complex vendor relationships and evolving regulatory requirements.

The role covers UK and EU laws applicable to technology and third party risk management, including operational resilience, outsourcing frameworks, data privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, working closely with international offices and coordinating with subject matter experts across intellectual property, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified solicitor, 5-6+ years' PQE, with extensive experience negotiating complex technology and commercial contracts
- Experience advising on DORA implementation, ICT service arrangements, and operational resilience
- Strong familiarity with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, international data transfers, and AI regulation and governance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at translating legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
