The Director, Commercial Finance – Life Sciences EMEA is a key strategic leader responsible for partnering with the Vice President, Commercial Life Sciences EMEA to accelerate profitable growth across the region. As a trusted member of the regional leadership team, you will shape commercial strategy, influence critical business decisions, and lead a high-performing finance organization that delivers world-class insights, pricing excellence, and digital innovation. This is an opportunity to drive meaningful business impact at the intersection of finance, strategy, analytics, and commercial execution.
What You Will Do
- Be a trusted advisor to the Vice President, Commercial Life Sciences EMEA and a key member of the regional leadership team, helping shape the commercial agenda for a multi-billion-dollar business.
- Influence where and how the business grows by guiding pricing, commercial investments, portfolio decisions, and strategic initiatives that maximize long-term value creation.
- Lead the financial narrative for the region, translating market trends, customer dynamics, and business performance into actionable insights for executive decision-making.
- Drive profitable growth through best-in-class pricing, deal governance, forecasting, and commercial analytics, ensuring resources are focused on the highest-value opportunities.
- Accelerate digital transformation by embedding AI, advanced analytics, and automation into commercial finance processes to improve productivity and decision quality.
- Challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities to improve commercial effectiveness, simplify processes, and unlock new sources of revenue and margin expansion.
- Partner across global and regional leadership to influence strategy, execute transformation initiatives, and ensure financial discipline across the commercial organization.
- Build an exceptional finance organization by attracting, developing, and coaching talent while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.

How You Will Get Here
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in commercial finance, pricing, analytics, or strategic finance leadership.
- Strong expertise in pricing strategy, financial modeling, forecasting, and business analytics.
- Experience with Power BI, ERP/CRM platforms, data visualization tools, and AI tools.
- Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing senior leaders, and developing high-performing teams.

- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing, profitability, forecasting, and business analytics.

- Proven ability to lead transformation through automation, AI-enabled analytics, and continuous process improvement.
